AR Food Scanner
Using AI models, the app will access the camera in the users smartphone to scan an image of a food item. With the information it gathers from the shape and look of the item, it will display the items information. Calories, possible dietary restrictions, ingredients, and a health score will be given to the user. This item will then be included for use in a generated recipe when prompted by the user, in conjunction with other food items.

AI Recipe Generation
After the food items are scanned, these items will then be used in recipe generation ideas for the user. The user can scroll through the all of the generated recipes to find the recipe that sounds most appealing. Each recipe will have its own caloric and ingredient information.

Seamless design in existing app
The AI feature's design will blend seamlessly into the existing app infrastructure. The new features add on to Yuka's original goal of informing users of the ingredients they consume and elevates Yuka's mission to encourage healthy eating. The new features work in conjunction with existing features to provide a navigable and enjoyable experience for the user.
